i caved

i was not (not not not not) going to do halloween this year for several reasons:

1) what do you mean 'do' halloween? how does a 7 1/2 month old 'do' halloween?
2) it is not a particularly christian holiday
3) have you seen the baby costumes? they look appropriate for alaska in february but NOT florida in october.

i have turned down at least 3 (but probably more) offers to buy daniel a costume, citing the reasons listed above. i did purchase a pumpkin hat off the dollar shelf at target that is too small for him, and planned on puting him in that and a black onesie or something.

but dangit, it's his first halloween, he's not old enough to want to be a pirate or yoda or go diego go yet, plus i want the pictures, so i'm gonna dress my baby up the way i want to and nobody else gets to pick. my lil pumpkin's going to be so stinkin' cute in his $3.99 (+ shipping) ebay costume :)



cruel and unusal punishment for a baby who's already hot blooded like his mama? probably. will he have it on for longer than 30 minutes? doubtful. but won't it be fun to have him all dressed up for the trick or treaters?????????
