back to work

sigh. it always goes so fast. at least i've done this enough times now to know that the anticipation of going back is much, much worse than actually doing it.

i had to run in babies r us today for something random. as i was racing through, i glanced over at the clothing section where all of the tiny, bright, clean spring newborn items had just been put out. this time last year, i was thrilled when the spring clothes came out because i could finally start shopping for my sweet baby. it made me really, really miss my tiny newborn and i had to head out of there pretty quickly to keep myself together. seriously, wasn't i just in there *yesterday* picking up last-minutes items to finish his nursery??? good thing it gets better and better every day or i'd really be sad about him growing up!
