sigh (big sigh)

well, looks like we won't be moving to indianapolis. again, just like last time, i was sure we were going, but no.

i didn't take the news as well as i did when st. louis didn't work out. i just happened to be at the mall when mike called me, so i did what any other perfectly rational hysterical mother would do: i high-tailed it into gymboree and bought my son ridiculously over-priced clothes that were not even close to being on sale. (i did have gymbucks......but still. ha.)

and speaking of the mall.............i am outraged with the amount of winter clothes that are still laying around. come on people, we don't wear that stuff here. bring on the spring. i am particularly unhappy with the few spring clothes that ARE around. yuck, bright stripes and nautical. gag. i won't be buying any of that, not even on sale.

but i digress. i was hysterical. daniel was hysterical (although i don't know what his problem was). when i'm hysterical i prefer to go it alone with some scrubs reruns and ice cream covered in hot chocolate mix and hersheys, but no, i had to try to feed a screaming 10 month old and take a bath with him because that was all that would settle him down. it was a horrible, horrible evening. i hate to think how many more evenings like that it might take before we finally get good news. i don't think it's ever going to happen.
