d has had a busy couple of weeks! we are all moved into our (hopefully-not-too) permanent apartment, so now i have tons of time to play with sweet daniel all day.
we miss our backyard. soooooo much. it seems so unfair that we waited and put off fixing it up, only to do it in time to enjoy it for a month and then leave. the strip of grass that we share with the other 6 tenants in this complex just isn't doing it for us. so, d and i head to the park every day. he brings me his shoes after mike leaves and throws a fit if i want to wait until after dinner when it cools off a little. he settles down in the stroller, takes in all of the sights, and relaxes his way around the HUGE park until we get to the playground.
we stopped to feed the ducks one day last week. i wanted d to do it, but he was more interested in eating the (stale) bread, so he watched. he was interested, but not too sure what to think of it.
yesterday we took d to a splash park in dublin. he was more interested in drinking the water and climbing on the rocks than anything, but if it keeps him busy and happy for 2 hours??? i'll take it!
back at home, d stays pretty entertained with his toys. (mike took this video).
however, there's just something hysterical about abc (already been chewed) green beans. note how abruptly the video ends when he starts chucking them in the floor.
