last nights in the crib

it's a bit on the early side, but daniel will be moving to a toddler bed this week. i'd planned on keeping patrick in the pack n play in our room for 3 months or so until daniel turned 2 and then making the switch, but he seems to be ready now. i want to get this transition out of the way well before we are dealing with 37 newborn feedings a night. plus, having the crib free to move patrick in there as soon as those night feedings slow down sounds very appealing :) daniel slept in the crib in his room from night 1, and if it weren't for wanting to minimize disruptions to daniel's sleep, i'd do the same with patrick. (they will be sharing a room in this apartment, and probably when we move to a house as well.)

it's just one more thing about daniel being a baby that is coming to an end, maybe faster than i'd like because of patrick's impending arrival. i wish i could keep him just like he is right now.......but i also remember thinking that when he was 4 hours old :)
