sometimes i can't belive this is really my life....

and that today i get to take my beautiful new baby home to live with my wonderful husband (who is also one of the best dads i've ever met) and my other sweet son. daniel is happy and healthy. patrick is a great eater and is already getting so much stronger. i get to spend the winter taking care of my family while my husband works a job that he enjoys going to. our parents and brothers and sisters are once again a big part of our lives now that we live close, and we can be a part of theirs. we have amazing friends far away who i still feel close to. and as far as the friends who are close by, it feels like we never left.
