slighly grouchy bc it's still monday and the weekend is still a bit to far away to discuss yet.

work is going well. i auditioned recorder ensemble last week and posted the results today . there were some tears. mostly from me though. i hate disappointing them.

now onto the 1st grade program. i've decided on "gettin' down wit mama goose." it doesn't really have "wit" in the title. that's my own addition.

i feel pretty good about what i'm teaching and my relationship with the kids (and their behavior, for the most part) so far. there is still friction between j and i but i've come to terms with the fact that it will be that way for as long as we work together.

principal scheduled a FULL DAY workshop on the professional day that is coming up next week.. usually we get to use that to clean off the desk abyss, but no. a FULL DAY in a workshop. BOOO. big time.

frances appears to be on its way to fl or the east coast. i don't have the money to evacuate again, sorry, so it needs to go somewhere else. besides, kristin is coming this weekend and it rained last time she was here. if that thing cuts across the state and dumps a load of rain on us i won't be a happy camper.

anyway, i have homework to do out of my $110 course pack. have a super week!
