almost 30

glad it's mike and not me hehehe......well i guess it's kelly too :) HA!

i was NOT excited to go back to work after spring break because of all the drama that took place but it hasn't been so bad. i've even managed to stay out of the gossip. well, not all of it....some of it is too good but i've been fairly drama-free for almost 2 whole days! woooooo!

kindergarten program is thursday. it is going ok, it's just hard to get 200 five-year-olds to all do the same thing at the same time and be quiet. they will be cute when their parents come thursday night, though.

april is going to be a busy month:
this week: kindergarten program
next week: specials expo (i will be performing a flamenco dance in front of 600 primary students and their teachers, wahoooo!)
week after that: volunteer breakfast performance
week after that: recorder ensemble concert

then all i have to do is teach 1 more month, pack up my stuff, and get out of there!

other than working.....we haven't really been up to anything since mike's parents left.

why, you ask?

mike got a speeding ticket (25 over, ouch) while picking me up from work a couple weeks ago because i was sick and Emilie drove me that day so my car was at her house in Riverview. anyway, he got the ticket following ME on I-4 after we got my car from Emilie's, i saw the cop, he didn't, i escaped, he didn't.

well.

last week i'm headed to st. pete from tampa for class. i get off on gandy to stop by target but you can't go that way when you are coming from the north so i did a U-turn. speeding down gandy, pretty day, sunroof open, i pod blasting. bam. 20 over.

we owe the dept of transportation (or whoever the hell collects that) our entire entertainment budget for the month of April.
