the cake has left the building

i don't know why i felt the need to order a full sheet cake for daniel's baptism party yesterday. we ended up taking half of it home.

i am happy to report that i only ate one more piece after we brought it in the house and then made mike take the rest to work.

kristin & jessica have been here since saturday morning and we are having too much fun. we took daniel to the beach today :) he doesn't like wind. or sand. and let me tell you, the bathing suit situation at 8 weeks post partum is not a happy one. at least for me.

my baby is 8 weeks old already. i can't believe how fast it is flying by. it seems like that awful first trimester took forever but that all the good stuff since then has been over so quickly. boo hoo.

i lost 2 more pounds last week. yay.
