i seriously just found out that you have to take the baby's mobile off the crib when they can get up on all fours or at 5 months, whichever comes first. (daniel can get up on all fours now. not that it matters that much, he will be 5 months in 2 weeks). i guess once they can do that they can somehow get the mobile down and strangle.

they should put that on the damn mobile box before you shell out $50 for it. that's $10 a month for a mobile. my netflix membership costs less than that and i get 2 movies a week for that.
he just noticed the stupid thing 2 weeks ago, and now i have to take it down. here i thought i was buying something that would make his nursery cute for as long as he sleeps in his crib. boo.
some of you probably remember how obsessed i was with that mobile, too. i wanted it more than anything else on my baby registry. nobody bought it for me so i hauled kara + 60 lbs to babies r us immediately after my last shower, gift card in hand, to buy it myself. the mobile was pretty much the only reason why i picked the (expensive) bedding that i did.
now, of course, i know that it really doesn't matter what the crib sheet looks like when it is pee soaked and you are changing it at 3 a.m. you are tired whether the sheet is cute or not. you are also tired whether you have an adorable mobile or not.
anyway, my beloved mobile is now up for auction on ebay. (i am not a pack rat and do not save things that i will not use again. the next baby will not have a bee nursery. i've already decided. no more themes.) ebayers are dumb and will pay the same amount for something on ebay that they can just drive to the store and get. (i don't do that of course, and get annoyed with people who ruin a good deal for everyone by driving items up to a ridiculous price).
