i am the mother of the lightest sleeper in the universe

ugh.

all i did was walk in there to put some toys away. he has been dead asleep since 8:30 p.m. the floor did not creak. i kept the toys perfectly still.

didn't matter. 2 seconds later he was standing up in the crib screaming at me.

this also happens if i turn on the bathroom light, dare to flush, or even peek in there to make sure he's still breathing (yes, 7.5 months later i still do that).

ah well. at least i get to cuddle him for a few minutes until he goes back to sleep.
