"i'm glad it finally got cold outside."

that's what one of the kids said to me the other day.

i checked the weather and it was 76 degrees. the kids have been wearing sweatshirts over their uniforms. i actually saw one student shivering in line. seriously. i'm not making this up.

tonight was the fall festival at school, and liz and i kept our nacho tradition alive. i wanted one of us to win the cakewalk, bring the cake back to my house and eat the whole thing since our husbands are both working, but we used some self-control and stuck to the nachos.

i had daniel in his costume for 2.5 minutes until i couldn't take the screaming anymore, so he spent the evening in his pumpkin hat only. glad i only spent $3.99 or something on that stupid costume. we'll be lucky if we even get a good picture out of it.
