another open house today. our typical open house day (this was our 3rd) consists of rushing home from church, getting everybody's clothes changed, making sure the house is perfect, and then putting ourselves, daniel and both dogs in the car. we have lunch at sonic and then mike stays in the car with the dogs while daniel and i run errands. we spend any remaining time at the park (as little as possible, because it's already so hot).
good news today - only 2 people came in, but one of them spent 30 minutes talking to our realtor about the house. he loved everything except for the 2nd bathroom/laundry room at the front of the house. (we don't really love that either, to be honest). he said he was putting us on his short list. soooooooooo, we are praying praying praying that this turns into an offer. i know we are still very new at this to be expecting an offer out of the first interested person, but hey, it only takes one, right????????

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. We sold Brent's old house through an open house just as we found the one we're in now. It will all work out in the long run. It stinks you have to go to so much trouble to vacate the house each time. When we were selling it was just the two of us and a cat.
