random

it's just going to be that way. we have a lot going on right now.

1) 1st trimester is kicking my butt. i am sicker than i was with daniel (although not nearly as sick as some people get, and am grateful for that). it is the EXHAUSTION that is killing me. it feels like i down a bottle of cold medicine every morning and then move through this fog all day long. making it to daniel's bedtime each night is an absolute fight to the finish. i live for wednesday and thursday when mike is home. it was this bad with my 1st pregnancy, but i had absolutely NOTHING going on in my life except for work. ha. not so this time!

2) another open house tomorrow. not hopeful. trying to motivate myself to clean my portion of the house. mike did most of it today while i laid around the house in my fog. 30 days and zero showings. panic is setting in. we are going to discuss another price reduction this week. i know the market is slow, but i would have thought we'd at least have a couple of showings by now. (btw, i hate it when people tell me the market is slow. EVERYONE has thought it appropriate to share this sentiment with me during the past few weeks.)

3) my last program is this week. as crappy as i feel, i'm just going through the motions to get it done and really don't feel very emotional about any of it. i'm kind of hoping it stays that way through the week and it never really hits me, although i have a feeling that all the adrenaline from the rehearsals and performances will pull me out of the fog and i will lose it in front of the whole school. i hope not. (added bonus - it's a really emotional patriotic show). oh, and since i know i have a lot of new readers since my last program, chorus shows are normally a big emotional deal for me, and if i don't cry during, i certainly cry either before or after (or both). there are tons of blogs about this if you feel like scrolling a lot.

4) i am so sad that i will not get to tell my kids at school about the baby. (i will only by 11 weeks on the last day of school). is that not the dumbest thing ever? i've had them for 3 years and just feel so weird that they probably won't even know about this baby.

5) i can't tell you how much i am looking forward to the day we move into our temporary apartment. mike's company hired movers and is securing our temporary home, so we are putting almost everything in storage and will live with bare essentials for awhile. I CAN'T WAIT. no work. no incessant cleaning for showings that don't happen. no upkeep on the house. and, i'll be almost out of the 1st trimester by then and feeling good, so i'll have tons of time to play with d. HEAVEN. in my imagination, the whole scenario is like a vacation. a month of no stress. i hope i'm right.

6) i have a dr appointment this week. by 9 weeks last time, i had already gained 4-5 lbs (big no-no). let's hope for 0 weight gain this time.

7) i think that's it. i doubt you made it this far, but if you did, thanks :) i have videos that i may get around to posting this weekend.
