IT'S A BOY!!!!!! we could not be any more excited about raising our two little boys together. thanks to a suggestion from kristin, we decided to name him patrick before we even knew we were pregnant again, so Patrick Michael it is.
the little guy had his legs crossed, so i was sitting there preparing myself to finish out the pregnancy NOT knowing, when she gave us the news. but there he was, curled up with his little bottom sitting right on top of my bladder. fabulous.
everything else looked great - he was yawning and stretching his arms out. all of the measurements looked good AND i don't have previa anymore. i was very surprised to hear that, considering i had it until 32 weeks last time. the doctor didn't give me much of a chance of it moving this time because of that, so that was a nice surprise for sure! it could not have gone any better, and we are absolutely thrilled.
so, i have all of these cute boy clothes that i get to use again.....ha, except they are all the wrong season and the wrong part of the country :) he'll be all set for next summer, that's for sure!
mike and i had a nice afternoon together while sara's mom watched our big boy for us. we stopped at the DQ for lunch and ice cream afterwards to celebrate.
i do believe that daniel has already somehow managed to teach his pouty face to his little brother.
