you have GOT to be kidding me

i finally got my actual hard copy of my teaching license today.

WITHOUT an ESOL endorsement. i took 18 hours of graduate classes to get that endorsement in Florida.

they want me to take another freaking test. never mind that i PAID Ohio for that endorsement already, and the multiple letters they sent me asking me to cut off my right arm and send it to them never said anything about taking ANOTHER test.

i would almost do it - i've already paid my praxis registration for 2008 and won't have to do that again if i test before the end of the year, just pay the test fee. but seriously, i am already over $600 in the hole over this whole certification thing. i'll probably just wait and see if i ever need to use it and take it then.

i am soooooooooooooo over this. all of this crap just so i can leave my baby home while i go to a different school every day to be a warm body and make a hundred bucks. yippee.
