monday

i have to go to the other school on mondays, and despite all of my complaining and trying to act as miserable as possible, i don't think i'm getting through to the music/art/pe schedule gods. they're apparently not paying attention to all of my whining about the huge inconvenience they've caused me. i don't think i'm fooling them anyway. they know i don't have to drive any further to get there, and that in reality, it isn't all *that* bad. i find myself *almost* having fun, and the day goes by pretty quickly.

one of the kids told me today that i need to get a baby cage. then the rest of the kids started saying, "uh huh, my mom gots a baby cage, too!" fantastic.

i think my coteacher may have talked me into considering going for my national boards next year. it's apparently a lot of writing, and i'm good at that and don't hate it too terribly much......something to think about. i'll have to research it.

it's hard to believe that 8 months ago tonight, i was laying in a hospital bed with my little bundle all wrapped up in my arms. now he's all sprawled across my lap in his big boy pjs.
