i think it's as close to 'home' as we're going to get, at least for awhile. the last 3 days have been totally insane, and i'm glad to finally be here so i can relax and enjoy my summer. i would enjoy it a lot MORE if my stupid house would sell and i could start fixing up a NEW one.
***moving highlights***
movers arrived at 4 p.m. on tuesday instead of 8 a.m. this was, without a doubt, the worst evening of my entire life. i'm not kidding. if you've spent anytime around daniel, you know he doesn't like to be confined and, well, i had to confine him. or try to. on top of that, i was extremely tired (running on 4-5 hours of sleep after packing the night before). they didn't leave until almost 1 a.m.
we got up at 4 wednesday morning after a nightmarish night on the air mattress that doesn't hold air. spent a couple of hours cleaning before work. mike continued cleaning and running errands with a verrrry tired baby in tow.

said goodbye to my seminole people :( they gave me a beautiful photo of me directing the kiddos at one of my last concerts, framed and matted.
drove to atlanta wednesday, got there at midnight. everybody did ok in the car, although macy didn't appreciate d's toys hitting her in the head. d had trouble settling down at the hotel, but we were all asleep by 2 a.m.
started at 9 a.m. this morning and ended up here by 6:30 this evening. our place is soooooooooo nice. very big, very clean. exploring tomorrow.
anyway, short - but i wanted to get it all down as it is all becoming foggy already from repeated sleep deprivation.
